Today, September 1st, is the start of being 4 weeks out from the 2024 IPL Golden Heart Classic - on September 28th.
I'm feeling so much better. I think I'm over and done with the kidney infection and kidney recovery stuff.
More good news - at the end of last week, I had a body comp done and I weigh less than my last check in for the June show. I'm excited. During May, cut month for the June show, I dropped ~10lbs. If the same thing happens this time, I'll be down to ~169lbs. That will be the lowest I've been in like 10 years or something. Am I where I want to be? Not quite, but I'm making progress. I still have some stubborn belly fat that needs to go.
My colors for the IPL show are primarily purple, but also a blue/green sequin shift. I'm going to be doing Figure [purple to black], Bikini Model (bathing suit bikini, not comp) [blue/green sequin shift], and Evening Gown [purple sequin]. I don't want to post pictures yet. I'm not really worried about people seeing where I'm at and what I'm going to be wearing, but at the same time I kind of am. I mean, this is a pro qualifier show and I don't want to fuck it up.
If I had a little more money, I would get a wellness suit and enter the Shape division (equivalent to Wellness). Suits cost money and entering a fourth division would cost money.
Are there goth competition suits out there? Not really. You just have to go by color scheme. Below are some suits to help show what I'm saying. The first one has been discontinued in purple (too bad). Keep in mind that for competitions your suit gets judged and you want it to be blingy (eye catching and works with your color palette). There are certain parameters that suits have to meet, which you can read up on for whatever league you are interested in entering or designing for. NPC and IFBB are the top two leagues.
